JACK HANKS was the most outstanding member at Boys' State. He was a member of the Longhorn Party and was elected Lt. Governor. He then went as a delegate to Boy's Nation and there was elected Vice- President. BOB MEADOWS was chairman cf the Longhorn Party and a member of the Board of Control. Youth Council and Boy's State 1963 Boys' and Girls' State There is no better way to learn about our govern- ment than to participate in it. This is what the Boy's and Girl's State programs offer, and thus help prepare the citizens of tomorrow. These non-partisan programs of instruction are held separately in our capital city of Austin each june.
