Officers The Business Women of tomorrow are taught shorthand, typing and bookkeeping by Miss N. Peterson and Miss A. L. Low. Under the direction of Mrs. Krause the art stu- dents are making posters and announcements for the various activities. In the Home Economics Department Miss E. Carlson, Mrs. V. Hill and Mrs. M. Flinn are busy teaching the elements of homemaking. Mrs. NI. Steinbach, Mr. O. B. Aftreth and Miss G. Doran put down their batons long enough to welcome us. Hagemeistcr SCIENCE 0FFICEBS In passing permit us to introduce our Science teachers who all did their bit to keep the Robin Chuggin. First let us present Miss K. Mickelson and Miss D. Forchas. XVhen Miss Mickelson is not too busy with Girls, Club she helps Miss Forchas plan auditorium programs. Athletically minded Mr. L. Ward and Mr. L. Alden spend free hours coach- Aliss E. Gillcland : ing the B Football squad and Hockey. Miss E. Gilleland and Mr. H. Hagemeister teach physics and Chemistry while Mr. M. XVoodwat-d and Mr. I. Nerdahl. have charge of the mathe- matics department. Mr. Nerdahl was coach of the Woodward Championship football team. Mr. coached the wrestling team. Air. 1. erdahl and . r. .H. u'oodnanl

12 Miss V. Skardvedl PHY. ED. Strong, healthy boys and girls are needed to keep our car uChuggin Thru. Miss Skartvedt, through work in girls' physical education classes and competitive sports, has provided us with girls in top physical condition. G.A.A. has become an increasingly popular activity. Points are earned by participation in end-ball, basketball, and badminton tournaments. These are applicable toward an award which may be either an emblem or a letter. The Athletic Department is under the direction of Mr. W. Sochocki. In addition to teaching sev- eral gym classes, Mr. Sochocki coaches basketball and golf and assists with football in the fall. Mr. Sochocki is assisted by Mr. Marvin Wrucke who SHOP 0F F ICEBS Mr. Sochacki. R. Kuch. Air. 1 . erucke OFFICERS teaches some gym classes, coaches the track team and has charge of all of the boys' athletic equip- ment. They all help to keep our students in perfect physical condition. Before leaving Robbinsdale High School let us drop into the Shop. There Messrs. Kraft, Strukel, and Wivell are hard at work teaching the funda- mentals of electricity, architectural drawing, wood and metal work. They have given us some assur- ance that our boys are prepared to repair the Robin should it break down enroute to our destinations. It is now time to bid farewell to all of those who have helped prepare us to take our place in the world. .Ur. I'l. Kraft and Ah. I. Slrukrl
