COMMANDING OFFICER 7 ? 5 3 Hut' VF' CDR JEFFREY R BEINBRINK UNITED STATES NIAVY A native of the northern shore of Long Island, Commander Jeffrey R. Beinbrink is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Beinbrink of Manhasset, New York. I-Ie received his commission as an Ensign upon graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy in june 1967 Following commissioning, Commander Bernbrink served aboard USS FISKE QDD 8421 as Damage Control Assistant until December 1969 I-Ie subsequently attended the Surface Warfare Office School department head course in Newport, Rhode Island and graduated with class 30 in june 1970. I-Ie then served a two year tour as Engineer Officer of USS WARRINGTON IDD 8431 In August 1972, Commander Beinbrink reported to the Bureau of Naval Personnel for duty within the surface junior officer detailing section. Commander Beinbrink was then assigned to the USS ANTELOPE QPG 86, in Naples, Italy He served as the ship's Commanding Officer from February 1975 until April 1977 Commander Beinbrink next served as Flag Lieutenant on the staff of Commander, Naval Forces Korea in Seoul, Korea. Commencing precommissioning training for the USS GEORGE PHILLIP QFFG 125 in November 1979, he served as the sh1p's Executive Officer until October 1982 Remaining in San Diego, Commander Beinbrink was then assigned to the Fleet Antisubmarine Warfare Training Center, Pacific, as the Resource Management Officer. He assumed command of the USS ROARK in February 1985 and served until May 15, 1987 Commander Beinbrink is married to the former Margaret Elizabeth Moore of Manhasset, New York. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science. Following commissioning, Commander Small reported onboard the USS LLOYD THOMAS KDD 7641 and 88IfXf9d as the Electronics Material Officer until January 1971. He then transferred to DESRON 2.7 St ff 'n servm 1 aS a ,agaly - EMO and Material Officer. In July 1974 he weighed anchor onboard USS MOINESTER QFF 10971 as Qpeiatlofls Officer.
