'lf F 1 M .Q is t Y Weapons Weapons, one of the largest departments on the ship consists of three divisions, First, Second, and AIS. First Division is responsible for the preservation and upkeep of top side areas, deck seamanship, and boat operations. Second Division supports the secondary mission of the ship by maintaining the ship's offensive and defensive weapon systems. AXS Division operates and maintains the sonar systems, and anti-submarine weapons systems and ordinance that supports the primary mission of the ship.
