Operations Department is composed of three divisions totaling about fifty men. The Operation Specialists of Ol Division are responsible for maintaining a tactical picture and running Combat information Center. OE Division consists of Elec- tronic Technicians and Electronic Warfare Tech- nicians. The former maintain search radars, communications equipment, crypto gear, and navigation aids. The latter maintain and operate their EW gear. The Radiomen of OC Division process the thousands of incoming and outgoing messages the ship handles while the Signalmen are responsible for all visual communication.
