Added to the usual tug-of-wars, car squeezes, and egg tosses were the new activities — the skateboarding contest and the human sundae-building contest. It seemed that through the week ' s activities Poly ' s spirit was anything BUT weak. ■Spirit Week 35 Poly celebrates with the Nora Scharf projects her Annette Funicello characteristics (above) while Ben Rubio practices up for a job on the Lawrence Welk show. The activities in- cluded a dunk tank, balloon popping, ' 50 ' s booth, car hop booth, a pie bake-off, mural painting, seed- spitring contest and all-around fun. 86 Spn.ng Faire Chris Celse and Tauni Baker came to join the festivities at Poly in honor of America ' s 200th.
