deserving Dr. George W. Brown . . . Superintendent: B.A., Maryville College: Ed. M., University of Buffalo: Ph. D., University of Chu cago. Seen conferring with Dr. Brown are Mr. Fickas and Mr. Newton. A school is a thing of many dimensions. Most obvious, but least important, are the dimensions of the buildings and grounds. The width and length and height of a school provide the space in which the students learn and mature. Th'ere are, however, greater widths. The high school seeks to cultivate in the pupils a width of interest, a width of knowledge, a width of ex- perience. The richness of life is a product of this broadening of lite. The lengths too are not measured alone in yards, feet and inches. There are also the length of patience, the span of tolerance, the courage- ous length of endurance, the length of quiet perseverence. ln this dimension too, the River- side-Brookfield High School would help its stu- dents grow. Height or depth are also human, as well as geometric dimensions. Depth of understanding and depth of purpose, combined with height of aspiration, height of vision, and height of faith are levels without which life would be a two dimensional wasteland. The school would seek for each of you, its pupils, the fullest of growth in the many dimen- sions of your life. George W. Brown
