These students perfected their skills in reading blueprints and drawing dimension- al forms. They also learned computer skills and made use of the new computer in their classroom to help with drafting activities. Drafting l is for those students who are interested in an introduc- tion to the field. To extend the students' knowl- edge, Drafting ll and Ill are also offered. Mrs. Slate, the sponsor of Drafting, helps students pre- pare for an architecture or engineering career. I-IERO-Food Service HERO-Food Service is made up of those students who are enrolled in Commercial Foods classes. The students enrolled were taught to prepare and serve lunches for students who wanted restaurant food rather than the everyday cafeteria food. The class also cooked and served homemade doughnuts session room several days this year. These students responsible for other special activities such as the Adopt- Breakfast and the Academic Awards Banquet. FFA Future Farmers of America is an organization for those students who are interested in agricul- ture. During their class period, the students learned the fundamentals of farming and the use and care of farm equipment. The members con- ducted monthly meetings and were enrolled in a horticulture or agriculture class. The students' many activities included field trips, conventions, and contests. Mr. Byrd and Mr. Shew are the sponsors of this organization.
