GCE General Cooperative Education, GCE, trains stu- dents on the job through a cooperative relationship between area businesses and the school. The goal of this organization is for the members to become lead- ers in their chosen area of work and responsible citizens of the community, Mr. Duggin explained. Fund-raisers included the traditional button and jew- elry sales. The year's activities were highlighted by the employer-employee banquet and the state con- vention. I-IERO-Food Service HERO-Food Service is made up of those students who are enrolled in Commercial Foods classes. The students enrolled were taught to prepare and serve lunches for students who wanted restaurant food rather than the everyday cafeteria food. The class also cooked and served homemade doughnuts session room several days this year. These students responsible for other special activities such as the Adopt- Breakfast and the Academic Awards Banquet.
