he Office Aides Students with good citizenship records and an in- terest in spending extra time as an aide are eligible for the job of an office worker. The work included run- ning errands, delivering messages, summoning stu- dents to the office, answering the phones, and provid- ing appropriate information to fellow students. As a result of working closely with the administration and office staff, these students developed responsibility and gained valuable experience in public relations. River- dale's HERO-Child Care is under the sponsorship of Mrs. Martha Lalance. This year the club's major goal was to develop youth leadership capabilities through a program called Action Impact and Encounter. The primary activities of the club were centered around the children in the Nursery Warriors program. Also, the students participated in one major sales project in conjunction with F.H.A.
