TO EC The Tennessee Office Education Club is an integral part of the office occupations program. Members used typewriters, dictaphones, add' ing machines, computers, and word processors to improve their business knowledge, and ex- ecutives and secretaries discussed various of' fice duties involved in the business field. Enroll- ment in a Vocational Office Education KVOEJ class is a requirement for TOEC membership. Through the profits from the major fund-raiser, the Tom Watt Showcase, various projects were successfully conducted. Also, TOEC students sponsored a successful project for Special Olympics and raised money for the Leukemia Society of Tennessee through a Type-a-Thon. Members of TOEC competed at regional, state, and national levels. Mrs. Jane Warner is the TOEC advisor. Student librarians focused their time attention on assisting the librarians in the best library services to all and faculty members.. Involve- as a library aide meant sacrificing a free period and being willing to perform such duties as putting up books and mag- azines, running the copy machine, and writing overdue notices. Assisting Mrs. Earline Thigpen and Mrs. Delores Morris is a busy job. f Bible Club The Bible Club, sponsored by Mr. Don Webb, is a group that helps students fulfill their spiritual needs and gain knowledge of the scripture and its meaning. Member- ship was voluntary and open to all de- nominations. The group met monthly during activity period for Bible study, Christian fellowship, devotionals, prayer, and spiritual encourage- The goal of the Bible Club is to members with an atmosphere will promote spiritual growth and ful- fillment.
