57 COUPLES ATTEND TURNABOUT The Turnabout Dance was held February 11 in the Ingot Room. The room was appro- priately decorated with valentine hearts and unicorns. The theme was “All Night Long” and the music was supplied by Devo- tion who played a variety of top 40 hits. Couples danced to the beat of such songs as Jeffrey Osborn’s “All The Wings of Love” to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” and “Billie Jean” and Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long”. 4

J.H. Students Display Royalty At King And Queen Dance The Junior High King and Queen Dance was held on Friday, February 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. It has become a traditional event for the junior high, given by the Student Council and Miss Kubiak, Student Council sponsor. Four cou- ples are nominated from each grade. All junior high students then cast ballots in class for the candidates of their choice. The winners of the voting are announced at the dance. Jeff Muha and Donna Collins were crowned 7th grade King and Queen, and Tim Armes and Tina Bartley were crowned 8th grade King and Queen. Below: The 8th grade court included Tim Armes, Tina Bartley, Dwayne Wilson, Carmen Tellez, Phillip Guzman, Glossie Gilbert, Ron Calvert, and Pau- lette Paradine.
