Our American Field Service Foreign Exchange Student I am very glad to have this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to the American Field Service and to Rising Sun High School, because I could come to the States and because everyone has been so helpful to me. In this our world, where the preservation of peace is an extreme need, a big contribution to this purpose can be given by offering the chance to young people to visit foreign countries, especially the United States, whose prominence and prestige are increasing more and more. Simply watching the political election on television, I could realize how many prejudices can fall when direct contact is made with the feelings and the problems of the nation giving hospitality to us. I fervently hope for the continuation and extension of the American Field Service program for better harmony and concord all the world over. fx . 28 'YYLQMOS 'blblkx
