This proved fo be one of fhe mosf enioyable parfies of our enfire four years. The Prom, Planfafion Time, which we puf on was a huge success. A ham dinner, followed by dancing and fhe showing of a movie, proved fo be new and very enioyable. Wifh a feeling of excifemenf and a Iiffle sorrow we have nearly finished our Iasf performance in Ripon High. We will always have fhe many memories of fhis Iasf year. Some of fhese are anofher spaghefli hof lunch, hof dog sales, dances, fhe debafe cafeferia, which we sponsored for four years, anofher old-fashioned Chrisf- mas Parfy, and of course, 'Ihe senior Difch Day af Yose- mife Park. Our class officers fhe firsf semesfer were: pres., Wanda Whifmoreg v.p., Joe Bodesong sec.-freas., Ted Barkley: Congressmen, Josie Esfeves and Don Pefer- son. The juniors have laken lheir places rhis year on 'rhe cons+ruc'rion crew. Building lhe Big Top, represenled by our Prom, was our biggesl assignmenl of fhe year. Before lhe Big Top was raised, we had +o compleie a loundafion - mainly referring lo enlarging our freasury. Whai a iob. The saw- dusf was pre++y +hick a+ fhe Hearf Hop affer +he Linden game loo. This was also sponsored by l'he iuniors. Ano'I'her proiecl' was rafflinq a puppy. Yes, il sounds crazy, and if was! A cu'I'e, fuzzy, li'Hle puppy, was donaled for lhe cause by Elaine Demichelis. A good crew can always ealg and from rhe way 1'ha+ lhe box lunches and candy sales weni, one could safely guess 'lhal fhe Ripon crew is good - and hungry. Ed is s'rill rrying +o pay back +ha+ 52.50 he spenl on BeHy's lunch. Also rhe crew +ook 'rime ou'r +o enioy a Junior Review presenfed in March. Finally our junior crew gave up and had a big rip-roaring ska+ing par+y in S+ock+on. Then came our biq day in May. I+ was fime To raise +he Big Top and begin lhe show. Everyone worked doubly hard, and oul of all our efforls came +he Prom. The members of a'l +he crews, +he ringmasler, and everyone danced, ale, enjoyed movies 'io lheir hearls conienl.
