'Un WILLIAM WHITMORE JAMES YARBER GRADUATES MADABELLE WILBURN ANNA LOU ZUMSTEIN SENIOR NOTES There'II never be anofher class like ours. We wonder how many ofher graduafing classes have expressed fhis same senfimenf year affer year. Neverfheless, fhe Class of '50 says if wifh fhe greafesf of confidence fhaf no ofher class could possibly have enjoyed fhemselves as much in four years as we have. Jusf for a liffle review, Ie+'s prefend fhaf we are wafching a moving picfure fhal' has recorded fhe acfivifies 'I'he class has parficipafed in during fhe lasf four years. Firsf on fhe film would be fhe class as freshmen. I+ would show fhem iusf becom- ing accusfomed fo high school, geffing inifiafed in fine sfyle and going on numerous skafing, lofher- wise known as black-and-bluel parfies. Nexf 'I'he same people would be shown as sophomores, much more sure of fhemselves, giving fhe firsf of many successful dances: and mosf imporfanf of all, hold- ing hol' dog sales, popcorn sales and every ofher kind of sale imaginable fo raise money for jlhe Junior-Senior Prom. The Junior year, if porfrayed on fhe screen, would definifely have fo be in fech- nicolor for fhal' year was cerfainly full of colorful evenfs. ,The biggesf excifemenf as Juniors was, of course, fhe planning of fhe Prom. Ofher imporfanf evenfs of fhaf year were receiving class rings and sponsoring color days. To finish fhe year off well, a rip-roaring presidenfial campaign was held fhaf was qui'I'e fhe noisiesf and mosf excifing Ripon High had had in some years. Now fhe show is nearly over and fhe Class of '50 is shown feeling very proud of being upper classmen buf a liffle sad af 'rhe fhoughf of leaving. Officers who served fhe enfire year were Frank Jacklich, presidenfg Bill Van Wyk, vice-presidenfg Frances Marfini, secrefary- freasurerg Bill Whifmore and Chuck De Vries served as congressmen. One of fhe firsf fhings fhaf hap- pened fo fhe class was 'Io gain Mr. Gingrich as an adviser fo fake fhe place of Mr. Olavarri. Ac- fivifies of fhese lasf few monfhs included choosing fhe class moffo, The ropes of 'Ioday ring fhe bells of fomorrow, and fhe class flower, fhe carnafiong fhe selecfion of announcemenfsg fhe planning of Difch Day in Yosemifeg and fhe year was finished before if even seemed fo begin. Thus fhe film ends felling fhe sfory of a graduafing class wifh plenfy of laughs and some preffy good previews of 'Ihe fufure. To fhe direcfors of fhis film, Mr. Sfouffer, faculfy members and especially fo our advisers, Miss Boggiano and Mr. Gingrich, fhe Seniors would like fo express fheir sincere appreciafion for fhe help and encouragemenl' fhey have given fo us fhrough 'Ihe years. To fhe classes fhaf follow, fhe Class of '50 wishes good luck and may 'I'hey fully enioy fheir remaining years af fhis school.
