The Girls' Afhlefic Associafion creafed much lively compefifion among inferclass feams. Quife a furnover in membership of fhe Scholarship Sociefy was caused by fhe new grading sysfem which marked work as safisfacfory or unsafis- facfory. An experimenfal War Whoop mef The needs for school news publica- fion and aroused some inferesf in news wrifing, prinfing, sfencil cuffing and mimeographing. Efforfs fo earn merifs were sfimulafed by fhe Gold R Sociefy. The Girls' League confinued ifs acfive charify work. Public speakers held an exfemporaneous confesf and debafers placed second in fhe league. Musical organizafions presenfed in and abouf Ripon some fhirfy pro- grams and concerfs besides fhe big Variefy Show, March 20. A con- finuous drive fhis year for band uniforms neffed around fwo hundred and fiffy dollars, abouf half fhe amounf required. School dramafisfs presenfed fhree plays and occasional skifs af rallies. The Fufure Farmers of America aided agriculfure fhroughouf fhe communify.
