Girls Won Interclass Speedball. I Many members of the Senior Class have been outstanding in Scholarship and Athletics. Those leading in Scholarship in the four years were Ruth Eastburg, John Poelstra, and Howard Stuart. Athletic honors for the boys were taken by Ched Kolak, Eugene Anderson, and Ralph Anderson. The Senior Class girls took many honors as a group. Those individuals that took part were Ruth Hutchinson, Genevieve Pratt, Ercell Stuart, Ingomene Maskus, Eleanor Fontes, and Evelyn Leppard. Thus fades the high school career of the class of 34, but the memory of the four years in high school will remain with us forever. Lim Page Seventeen

OUR JUNIOR YEAR At last we became upper classmen and real leaders of the school. With Mr. Milam at the stern we overcame all difficulties. Our Junior-Senior Sport Dance, held at Hotel Wolfe in Stockton on May 5, was the talk of the school. Our Junior Play, Suicide Specialist, given in March, was a great success. We not only took honors in athletics, but in scholarship as well. VVe ended the Junior year with a picnic at Twain Harte. First Semester Second Semester Ched Kolak ........... ...., . Although we weren't so many in number as when we entered as freshmen, we certainly let the other classes know we were there. Our senior play, Be An Optimist , was said to be one of the best plays ever presented. After much heated discussion our Senior Ditch Day was held in March at San Francisco. It turned out to be one of the best times we have ever had. The Juniors honored us with a sport dance on May 18.
