Primfzjmzl is' Message To the Class of '54: A knight for us today is a symbol of an important period in the history of man. He represents the idealsof men as related to social life and conduct dur- ing the Middle Ages. He was one serving a superior and bound to chivalric conduct. His life had a constructive purpose in seeking to enthrone justice, to correct wrongs, to battle For truth. The medieval knight will always remain a Fitting symbol of the life of Christians. It is a Fitting symbol too, of a Christian High School graduate. All of us, you also, are serving a Superior who inspires us to live by the highest ideals and whose orders we are bound to obey. We trust that the ideals of the Christian life have been held before you by Faithful Christian teachers. We hope that you have in a measure realized that God-centered learning or training calls For God-centered living. Our Chris- tian ideais must seek their realization in Christian conduct even as the knight hadto live up to his high ideals. May you go forth as loyal servants of the King of Kings, zealous to do His will, bold to live constructively according to the demands of His law. Our prayers and best wishes go with you.
