Mary Jo Rhodes do will and bequeath my love C95 for Mr Jarrett to the poor unlucky seniors of 1954 Benme Rowley do will and bequeath my ability for no excess talking to Betty Lou Casto Everett Sayre do will and bequeath my ability to get kicked off the bus to any fool willing to take it Gene Sayre do will and bequeath my ability to drive slow to Stanley Lathy Neil Sayre do will and bequeath my gentle temper to John Jordan Charlotte Ann Skeen do will and bequeath my ability to win or lose be a good sport to Carolyn Harpold Kenneth Speicher do will and bequeath my ability of excess talking to Fuzz Jitters Slaven Glenva Stalnaker do will and bequeath my honor of being Miss Viking to some well deserving Junior girl Marvin Tolley Imogene Walker do will and bequeath my ability to drive to Betty Carney Winrue Walters do will and bequeath my love for Don tlet the Stars Get in Your Eyes to most every body Ida Lee Waybright do will and bequeath my good grades in Econonucs to Pat Johns Ronald Whlting do will and bequeath my ability to drive to Deloris Rollins Edith Wolfe do will and bequeath my love for Mr Jarrett s Social Living Class to Betty Wolfe CLASS HISTORY Class of 53 seniors' How quickly the years have progressed bringing with time a climax of our high school careers Throughout these past four years we have worked to establish ourselves as a class ready and willing for all opportunities In the fall of 49 as freshmen we began high school with an enrollment of 119 Our choices for leaders were Dick Casto Raymond Bush and Barbara Easter Mary Pfost Mary Buckalew and Karen Kiser were selected as our representatives in the cheerleading section siding officer we elected Dick Casto again and his assistants were Arlene Batten vice president and Helen Bailey secretary This year Helen Bailey Joined the majorettes and in her semor year became the head majorette Our Junior year 52 was the most unfor ettable ofall the four Dunno this vear we continued our money mak in adventures in orderto give the Senior Class t e traditional banquet Paper sales were the beginning and candy sa es became our potential gold mine I-or our annual homecomin game we sponsored the Mr 81 Miss Viking Contest The car our candidates rode in won first place quite an onor for Juruors As our president we again chose Dick Casto vice president Patti Morris secretary Arleen Batten and treasurer Mary Buckalew ln February we presented the annual Jumor Variety Show consisting of dancing singing and bar room capers This year as our second addition Colleen Ellis Joined the majorettes And now 53 a grand closing for a memorable career As semors we elected Gene Herdman president Glenva Stalnaker vice president and Patsy Reamey secretary and treasurer Our candidate for Miss Vikm Glenva Stalnaker won the honor and her transportation our car won first place again in the homecoming ara e Our Elay Brother Goose under the direction of Mrs Lucille Castrup was a hugh success To our basket all and foot all heros we give praise without their hard work we would not have been a very successful part of the school In closing a memorable lugh school career we would like to thank our sponsors for their part in directing our acuvities throughout these years Mrs Lucille Castrup Mr D Wade Kessel and those who were with us only a short time Mrs Grace Boggess Mr Philip Bardwell Mrs Lilly Faye Lanham and Mrs Zena Cremenas To the future seniors we leave a wish that they may enjoy and benefit from their school years as we have I. .
