Girls' P. E. Betty Payne is new to Rio this year. She has her B. S., attending Graceland College and. Northeast Louisiana Col- lege. She helps sponsor G. A. A. Sandy Rockwell teaches Health as well as the regular courses offered in P. E. She has her B. S. Mrs. Rockwell has attended UNM and Western New Mexico. She sponsors Ravenettes. Mrs. Payne takes time out to explain some of the fundamental in trampoline. l80 Elma Carlson heads the Girl's Physical Education Department. She teaches P. E. III and IV. She has attained her B. Boys' P. E. Al Wlright heads the Physical Education D partment for boys at R10 He attended and grad- uated from UNM attain- ing his B. S. and M. A. He coaches baseball. Coach Jerry Maiers is as- sistant coach of our Raven baslcetball and football teams. He teaches all four classes of stu- dents. He has his B. S. and M. S., having at- tended the UNM. Bill Rogers, as well as teaching, devotes his time to coaching our track team. He has his B. A. and M. A. Coach Rogers attended Kearney State and Nebraska Wes- leyan.
