11: ,1,11 . Cip Esquibel is the Chairman of the Language Department at Rio Grande. He teaches all levels of Spanish. He has his B. A. + 15 and has attended Adams State College, Utah State, UNM, High- lands, and Colorado Western. Qs Lois Goldfarb teaches French. She has her B. A, and grad- uated from the University of New Mexico. Mrs. Goldfarb is the French Club's sponsor. Louis Griego has his B. S. and attended the University of New Mexico. He teaches Mathematics and Latin. He sponsors the Latin Club and is the coach of our Rio Cross Country team. Nestor Montano has attended the UNM and Michigan State, where he has achieved his B. A. and M. A. He teaches Spanish I, II, and III. He is the Spanish Club's sponsor. I74 Language Department A Liz Gilbert teaches German and Geog- raphy. She sponsors the German Club. Mrs. Gilbert has attended the University of Vienna, the UNM, the University of Texas, and the University of Erlange. She has her B. A. F. A. Bill Barela teaches Spanish II and Spanish III. He has attended the UNM, the Universidad Central, and Montana University, attaining his B. A. -1- 15.
