Administration Rio Grande students this year again have maintained the' tradition of Scholarship, Sportsmanship, and Leadership. This tradition is well known and is reflected in all ac- tivities in which Ravens participate. The classes of this 1966-67 school year have added another strong link to this chain of tradition. Mr. Jaramillo Wx Mr. Iaramillo Artivitief Director z.,..,.. Lola Lenz is Rio Grande's full-time nurse, and she does have a full time job. She has her B.S. and is a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Lenz has attended Loretto Heights College and the University of New Mexico.

Without this con- viction, blind chance would take over and the whole of human society would fall into purely accidental patterns. You must work, with your teachers, toward learning to make the best of our extraordinary resources if We hope for future stability, for it is to you young people our society will look for imagination, leadership, and the realization of dreams. Mrs. Christman I62 Rio Grande High School, in its nine years of opera- tion, has experienced the growing pains attendant to an expanding community. Increase in the muh- ber of RAVENS on campus can be substantially equated with the stature and image of the school. I share with all RAVENS that feeling of pride- a feeling that we recognize but find difficult -to describe. The contemporary thought appears to be that of INDIVIDUALISM and CHANGE. What can you and I do as individuals in this amazing age? In fact, if our minds arenunprepared, it is a bewildering, frightening age. The tempo of life and developments is increasing at an astounding rate. Accomplishments and events are unfolding almost too fast for the mind of man to grasp. Much that was considered impossible a few years ago is now a reality. You and I must train ourselves to be mentally alert, to maintain an open mind, to search for and develop our own creativity, so we can adapt ourselves to the changes that are coming, so that we will havethe insight, the understanding and the courage to meet them. Mr. Ben Anzures is new at his job as counselor. He has acquired his B.S. and M.A.-l-30, having attended UNM and Denver University. 1 I X xl, . M Mrs. Kelley is one of the Senior counselors. She got her B.S. in psychology, she attended UNM. She co-sponsors Los Historianos. I64 ,es m,.,..4 Mr. De Wolf, Rio's head counselor, has attended UNM, Texas Tech, University of Arizona, and Eastern Michigan University.
