Do you know what I do to people who don't laugh at my jokes? says Ringo fHarold Morelockb in Desperate Am- brosef' 58 Mosques Produce The purpose of the Rio Grande High School Drama Club is'to promote drama to the students and faculty of Rio. ln order to do this the Masques, as the members of the club call themselves, produced three plays this winter and are producing one more which will make its debut this spring. The plays were Desperate Ambrose, Waiting for Leftyf, and Sunday Costs Five- A Pesos. The final play of the year is Death Takes A Holidayf' Much money goes into the productions of these plays, so the Masques have had an important money-raising project. The '4Ugly Man Contest was the 3 first semester project. The contest was a financial success, netting over 3400. 1 ln order to honor their best actresses and actors, the Masques had a banquet at the Polynesian Inn on the ninth of January, 1965. Trophies were given to 1 the Winners.
