The yearbook staff owes a great deal to the sponsors, Miss Miller and Mrs. Mitchell. Since Rio Grande opened seven years ago, Miss Miller has been with the yearbook, forming the firm basis on which it was built and on which it is now develop- ing. This year she is joined by Mrs. Mitchell, who is new to Ra- venland. Throughout this school year they have provided the staff with coun- sel and guidance. As sponsors they are also volunteering their time and efforts. Here we would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Miss Miller and Mrs. Mitchell: Thank you ever so much. We couldn't have done it without you . 40 Compiling the 1964-1965 edition of Po-Ye-Da is a team of two pretty and efficient editors. Into the pages of this book, Priscilla and Karen have com- bined their ideas, their inspirations, and their many and varied thoughts. Rushing to meet the deadlines and running around to make appointments and interviews, both are indeed two of the busiest girls on campus. In the midst of this hectic schedule, they of- ten take time to offer advice and help- ful criticisms to members of the staff. And besides staying long hours after school, they sometimes sacrifice pre- cious weekends in order to finish the work that must be done. It is extremely difficult to sum up their talents and fine attributes. They are not only capable and original but also cheerful, dependable, and hard- working. We, of the staff, take this oppor- tunity to congratulate Karen and Pris- cilla on an excellent job well done. ,.., ., ,, r ...Q-M.. .. an f me-wn.,f.f -
