ding es BOB F ULLERTON Outstanding Basketball Athlete This yearis outstanding athlete in basketball was Bob Fullerton. Bob is a Junior and has a high scholastic average. He scored over 320 points in 23 games and brought down from the backboard more than 75 rebounds. In 1965-66 Bob will be a number one man on the Ravens' Basketball Team. This year Bob was the only junior to make the All-City team.

Outs Az: RAY MAXEY Outstanding Football Athlete The Rio Grande Ravens really had something to be proud of this year, for Rio s fabulous Ray T. Maxey was one of two New Mexico high school students to be chosen Prep All- American. Maxey, a 5,9,', 165 pound senior quarterback, was nominated for the honor by Coach Al Wright who says: Ray is the best back ever in the state of New Mexico. Maxeyis exploits on the football field also earned him berths on the All-City and All-State teams. He was unanimous All-City pick and-a first unit All-State back on both wire service polls. In ad- dition, Maxey scored 94 of the Ravens' 140 points to win the Duke City, and the State AA scoring titles. Maxey led the Ravens' football team to a 3-6 record.

Uuts tancling Wrestlers or PAUL VALLES Outstanding Wrestlers In 1965 the Rio Grande Ravens were led to second place in the State Wrestling Tournament. This position in the state was achieved through the outstanding efforts of Art Simoni, who was wres- tling in the 112 pound class, and Paul'Valles. in the 103 pound class.
