Speaking with two seniors is our principal, Mr. Gilbert E. Miranda THE PURPOSE SHOULD BE CLEAR. Where there is no clear purpose there is no strength of character. Vifhere there is no strength there can be no success. It is one thing to declare a purpose, another to stick it out to the end. What we need is a clear purpose plus the integration of life around it. Integrating all the circumstances and events of life should not hinder but enhance the basic aim. Someone once said that the difference between an integrated and an unintegrated life is the difference between a bound volume and memoranda on the backs of envelopes. Former RAVEN S established the pattern for current and future RAVENS. Much has been said about the students who attend Rio Grande High School. Complimentary phrases have been showered on Ravens by those directly associated with Rio Grande High School. These words of praise have been reinforced by interested observers. Letis enrich this tradition by making our contribution toward the central purpose. Gilbert E. Miranda
