ducation Club The DECA Club has participated in many activities. Mrs. Johnson, a Stanley Home Products dealer, presented the group with at sales demonstration. The club sponsored such money raising proiects as a car wash, a skating party, and a turkey raffle. The club still maintains the sup- port ot a child in France through the Save the Children Federation, a proiect started in 1963. Rio's D.E. sponsored a city-wide DECA Officer Initiation ceremony. German Club Enjoys Active Year The German Club is a group of students interested in the German language and in the life, culture, and history of the German-speaking countries. All are study- ing or have studied German. The members contribute to school spirit and ra-ise funds by selling football ribbons. 1963-64 was the most active year in the club's history. Activities included a fall picnic in the mountains, various types of programs in German, a caroling party at Christ- mas, a ioint hike with the French Club, a spring picnic and a semi-formal dinner party in May.
