Facult embers ffer CIVIC1 MR. SANCHEZ, MRS. TIPPIT, and MR. HAYES were the spon- sors of the first variety assembly. Their hours of work and planning produced one of the best variety assemblies we have ever had.' All the extracurricular and club activi- ties that make school so enioyable would not be possible if it weren't for the faculty members who dedicate so much of their time to sponsor these activities. Although it is not pa-rt of their job, they spend hours after school helping stu- dents organize the activities. They de- serve much of the credit for the success of the-clubs and activities here at Rio Grande. All the help and guidance they give are truly appreciated by the stu- dents who realize that none of it would be possible if it weren't for their help and cooperation. The standing committees of the Student Council are sponsored by this wonderful group of teachers who contribute so much to the functioning of Student Council. From left to right are MR. HAYES, Assembly Committeep MR. ANZURES, Elections Committee' MR SANCHEZ , . , Constitution Committeeg MRS. HILGER, Ways and Means Committee: MRS. TIPPIT, Social Committee and MRS.
