R 4 Dawn Porter, james Bright, Lee Astle, Gregg Smaroff and Doug Cooper. Mr.George I. Eckert The Athletic Training Department at Ringgold High School has been under the direction of Mr. George I. Eckert since the summe of 1974. Mr. Eckert has a vast knowledge of experience: working on the university level for four years, the public schools fo fourteen, and in professional football for one. Mr. Eckert is one of the few athletic trainers in Washington County to be licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. H4 also belongs to such professional organizations as the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association, the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers' Society, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. This year's staff of student trainers, as in any year, is an integral part of the R.H.S. athletic program. These students sacrifice thei: time for practice, games, and clinics for their fellow students. They are as important as any player is to his f her team.
