WRESTLING SUMMARY The Bears enjoyed a new sport this year, when they enthusiastically tried their skills at wrestling. Not any laurels were won, but the ex- perience should reap good accounts for the next year. Bruce Wood, heavyweight, placed second in the Slope meet at Montrose this gave him the right to enter the State meet in Denver. Jack Bessire did a fine job in the 133 pound division. BASKETBALL SUMMARY ln basketball the mighty Bears showed their superiority in athletics by bringing home for the first time, The Western Slope Championship by virtue of an uphill 46-42 victory over Delta.
