Foreword As we, the class of 1955, look back along the road which we have traveled, we remem- ber many scenes. We can recall places where the road was rough and rocky, where we could never have passed safely, if it had not been for the capable guidance of our parents and teachers To them we say a very sincere Thank you Then too there were places along our road that were smooth and easily traveled On these the high points of our hrgh school careers we have enjoyed together the many privileges which being a part of the growing system of Ridley Township schools has given us. We realize that we have now reached the first of many great crossroads which we will encounter during our lives. From this point on, our paths will separate, and each of us will travel an individual way through life. Our schooling however has lard the foundation for making our road after graduation one whrch leads to success In this book we have trred to show scenes from the last year of our Road to Graduation Come walk with us rn memory Deofroatron Intermrngled with the joys of high school life are the sorrows that come from the loss of familiar friends The students of Ridley Township High joined the townspeople rn mourning the death of Dr Harry Callager during the past year Dr Callager served as medical examiner for our schools for thirty five years He worked zealously durrn this period of time admrnrsterlng to the physical needs of our township It IS because of his unselfrsh devotion and efforts on our behalf that we of the 1955 ARCHIVE staff dedicate our yearbook to our doctor and friend Dr Harry Gallager 2 7 7 sc 79 ' ' - s 3 ' 9 -4 , U U . . .
