Our Senior Trip On May 27 we arrived in New York City. Some of the highlights of the day were China- town, the Bowery, Greenwich Village, Lower East Side, Wall Street, and a cruise to the Statue of Liberty. Some students visited the Empire State Building. On the second day we visited the United Nations Building. In Upper New York we saw 5th Avenue, Millionaire's Row, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Central Park, Grant's Tomb, Riverside Church, and Hell's Kitchen. A thrilling feature of the day was Radio City Music Hall, where we enjoyed a movie, Spenser's Mountain, and the Rockettes. On May 29 we reached Washington, D. C. We toured Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, Bureau of Engraving, Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. That evening we took a moonlight cruise down the Potomac River, stopping at the Marshall Hall Amuse- ment Park. On our last day of actual touring, we viewed the Capitol Building, Washington Monument, Wax Museum, and the Smithsonian Institute. That evening we left .Washington, arriving in Ridgeville Corners the following day. The chaperones on the trip were Mr. and Mrs. Martin Damman.
