CHEERLEADERS SUPPORT Barbara Kessell, Rita Myers, Jane Hershey, Sue Schroeder, Helen Pappas, Shirley Mattioe. VARSITY CHEERLEADERS Varsity Cheerleaders in action. The cheerleaders of our school are an important part in sports and student life. The 1962-63 cheerleading squad did a fine job of keeping the student body be- hind the athletic teams. IU1Sp FOOTBALL 1962 Ridgeville High Schools football team had much determination this season, under the excellent leadership of Coach Gillooly and assistant Coaches Fortune and Schumacher. We witnessed an excit- ing win against Wellington the second game which gave our team hope to the future games of the season. Although they weren't as successful during the remain- der of the season, they still showed eager- ness and good sportsmanship during the entire year.
