All of this built up to Homecoming Day festivi- ties. Our 2nd annual Homecoming Fest was something to remember. Young and old alike came to enjoy the fun, food, and excitement Displays were set up by var- ious organizations. This year's Home- coming parade featured the Chanute Air Force Band, antique cars, colorful floats, and as always, the Marching Bulldogs. s AND THE MEMORIES SAIL ON “Sail On”, by the Commadores was an appropriate theme for this years Homecoming, as it provided us with many good times, that will long be remembered. The highlight of our week was Saturday night's dance, sponsored by Student Coun- cil. They worked hard during the week planning, organizing, and decorating for this occasion. Success should not be based on the number of games won or lost, but rather on the basis of what each individual does in relation to his own ability. True success can be attained only through self- satisfaction in knowing that you did every thing within your ability to become the very best that you are capable of becoming. ” JO John R.
