Twenty Senior Prophecy One stormy day in 1960. Tap and Yak. two little Kremlins from the class of 53. appeared in the same old home town. And here’s what they found: In Riddle, the former Phyllis Huffman is now Mrs. Jack Garren with four little tots to care for —looks like she didn’t need that office practice after all! Also in the home town we see Jim Harper and Conrad Johnson, who have formed a bureau for the school kids—the name? “The art of school skipping” Well. Yak. look who’s here. It’s Admirals Inman and Hammersley. head supervisors of the “Glenbrook Shipping Center”, the largest exportation point for nickel ore in the world. Old Cow Creek has been dredged to permit the docking of ocean going vessels. Once again we find Ann Anglin doing postal work. She is the postal clerk of Hanna Developing Co., thanks to the expert advice and teaching of Mrs. McGee. Theo Mann is now head beautician for the exclusive Riddle Beauty Shoppe. Her specialty is dye jobs—red of course! Once again Tap and Yak. our two little gremlins, appear stowed away in a Sabre Jet. flown by Ervin Havron. ace jet pilot of tht U. S. Air Force. When we arrive in South America we come up to a beautiful trailer house and see the former Ruby Wooley busily slaving over the cookstove fixing dinner for her husband and six children. The menu?—Spam and grilled cheese sandwiches, her specialty! Hopping on the jet once again, we return to the U. S. and find ourselves in New York City. Here we find Noma Townsend, top model of the famous Powers Models. She is making her money now without slinging food at the people! Also in New York and staying with Noma, we find Pat Ritzman. who is now the head volleyball coach at New York University. When we visited her. she was teaching 5T girls how to spike over a 9’ net. After Noma and Pat finished their work, we went with them to the Waldorf Astoria for dinner: and as we entered they excused themselves and went to the bandstand to talk to the leader—guess who? Art Delaney, well known band leader. (Good for you, Art, you always said you would be.) Joyce Brittain is now the best nurse in the country and has received fame as great as that of Florence Nightingale. Jerry Myers is head coach at Yale. He draws a terrific salary, and the kids call him Cackle. Say. wonder who that little gal is in the background? Well look here, it’s Earl Burgoyne. and here's what he told us about himself: “I have been in the Army ten years and I’m still a Buck Private!” Don’t you believe it. from those bars on his shoulders I would say he is a Captain! Sandra Renhard is head secretary for the Hanna Developing Co. in Alaska. She is teaching the Eskimos the art of learning short hand and office practice. Kay Season is now a professor of psychiatry. She says that she is going bats herself trying to find out what’s wrong with other people. And now we 2 gremlins must leave you. our fellow classmates, wishing you happiness and prosperity.
