rom granfic jrefilrmen jo gadufoud eniord Wfe will remember the fabulous fifties as beginning in February 1955 when we entered the Annex as freshmen. This was the beginning of four frantic years during which many of our classmates gained prominence through scholarship and activities. As freshmen in the Annex, we were distinguished by Ken Simon's dramatic ability. When we entered the Main in September -lack Foley made us proud by joining the swimming team. That same year many of our girls became charter members of Boosters and could be found cheering our teams on to victory. Another promising athlete became evident as we entered our sophomore year and johnny Lepik made both the basketball tive and the baseball nine. This sophomore class was represented on Dfmzifm by circulation manager, Bob Turner. And our art talent was 'exemplified by Bill Remling who won the Skating Party Poster Contest. Talent galore was spotted in our junior year when Chester Beaudoin, Gerry Bornschein, and Bill Remling performed in the Talent Show. George Kruse and Demetrius Marinos showed their athletic ability by playing on the newly formed soccer team. George made us doubly proud by beirrg chosen for the All-City Soccer Team. Everybody seemed to want to get into the act during our junior year. Bill Remling, Al Rizzo. and Vinnie Sganga were elected othcers of various clubs. Bob Turner was raised to the position of Assistant Editor on Dowizm. When Richmond Hill High School pupils were guests on Herb Sheldon's Studio Party, Debbie Ripperger was chosen as a 'Sheldonettef' As seniors, our class was again represented in the athletic field when Vinnie Calia and Ed Wfortmann made the baseball team. Finally the day came when we were really seniors, graduating seniors. To lead us in this final term we chose Bob Turner as chairman and Denni Rolla as secretary- treasurer. Through the hustle and bustle of senior activities we finally made our way to Regents and graduation. Now we look back on our four frantic years in Richmond Hill as a time hlled with sadness and glee, a time we will never forget. H :la- ' l . 3 IAQ- Qu- fl 4A-0-. l l Q i f '. . X .
