.gpoeager 0 fke .Maude LILLIE H. WALTER Adviser to the Class To THE CLASS or JUNE, 1946: It was from the platform during assembly at Annex 56 that I first greeted you as The Class of June, l946. You were second p termers and gasped at the salutation. To you June, 1946 then C f seemed aeons away. Now, suddenly, you are seniors. Nevertheless the transition has not been so sudden but that you have accomplished a great deal in the interim. In scholastic achievements you have made a very creditable record, many of you receiving various scholarship distinctions. In service to your class and to the school you have been an enthusiastic and energetic group. You brought to a successful con- clusion many worthwhile class projects. Your work, as class ollicers or committee members, for the Wlar Fund, your successful Junior Prom together with the Class of January, 1946, your campaigns for C. O., all bespeak a valuable ability you have shown to work well together in large groups in the social life of the school. You leave high school life at a time when the world, exhausted from war, is striving toward government by understanding and law, not brute force. We believe that your training at Richmond Hill has contributed to the development of the ability, courage and high standards of conduct with which we are sure you will try to serve that world. The friendliness and thoughtfulness you have shown toward me will make my close association with you a very pleasant memory for me. For the years that lie ahead of you I most sincerely wish you well.
