Boy,s Federation
The Boys Federation, under the leader-
ship of Mr. Landers, is teaching the boys more
opportunities of leadership training. It offers
boys a chance to participate in the activities
of the school. It co-sponsors, with the Girls
League, the Thanksgiving Formal, Stag
Night, the Tennis Tournament, the School
Leadership Project and various service activi-
ties. The club was organized in 1945. It meets
once a month and representatives from vari-
ous home rooms attend the meeting. When
the club was first organized, all the club
members met in a group to discuss the busi-
ness of the club. As the club grew they had
to change it to a central type of government
where representatives were elected from the
home rooms. The club has grown from about
20 members to about 450 members. The Boys
Federation has done much to promote more
school activities.
