Miss Palmer retired in June 1985, after 32 years of dedica- tion at Richburg. She earned much admiration and re- spect from students, faculty, staff, administration, and the community. Her generosity, fairness, sense of humor, hard work, and sincere interest in education and in her fellow man will long be remembered. Miss Palmer taught numerous courses, was the Advisor to six classes, a Yearbook Advisor, Basketball Scorekeep- er, Extracurricular Funds Director, and an active Faculty Association member. We have been fortunate to have an individual of such high caliber in our school. We are grateful for her guidance and friendship and wish her many happy and healthy years in her retirement. 2 ADMINISTRATION Mr. Robert Klucik, Superintendent Miss Pappas, Guidance; Mr. Klucik, Superintendent; Mr. Harris, Assistant to the Superintendent RICHBURG CENTRAL SCHOOL MICHAEL J. GIBBONS ASSISTANT TO SUPERINTENDENT RICHBURG, NEW YORK 14774 PHONE: 716 928-1380 ROBERT L. KLUCIK SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS C. ROBERT STOHR DISTRICT TREASURER To the Class of 1986: A yearbook is more than printed pages, clever sayings, and photographs. It is, in a very real sense, a record of memories - your memories - the memories you hold both individually and in common with your classmates. It is my hope and the hope of the staff and faculty of Richburg Central School that those memories are pleasant ones which you will cherish throughout your life. You have received an education that we hope will serve you throughout your lives, and the memories within these pages will serve you in those quiet moments when you turn your thoughts back to the days you spent here at Richburg Central School. On behalf of myself and the faculty and staff of Richburg Central School, I wish each and every member of the class of 1986 the happiness of a productive life, the respect of your fellow human beings, and the love of your friends and families throughout your lives. Robert L. Klucik Superintendent 5 Poem I loved my friend He went away from me. There's nothing more to say. The poem ends. Soft as it began— I loved my friend. Langston Hughes In Memory Of Scott James Warner 1967-1981 We, the class of 1986, would like to pay tribute to the memory of Scott J. Warner. Scott was born on June 3,1967, the son of Everett and Evelyn Warner of Friendship. He was the last in a family of six. Scott attended Richburg School from kindergarten through second grade; but, due to Muscular Dystrophy, he was unable to continue his education here. He was tutored at home until he died in January of 1981. Scott enjoyed science and history, and his favorite pastime was reading. He had a good outlook on life and rarely complained. He was the kind of person who looked forward to each new day. Scott will be remembered as a good friend. 523 = 4e uobL SENIORS 10 8 GUESS WHO? 9 20 LESTER BAKER WILLIAM M.
