n w We, the Class of 1983, dedicate this issue of The Quill to Mrs. Ora Jean Bullock: secretary, confidante and friend. The students who have known her during her twenty-seven years at Richburg have found her to be most efficient in the way she has handled the day-to-day operations of the Superintendent. Students have always found her to be a person in whom they can confide, a person to whom they can go for advice, a person who can be relied upon just to listen when things have not gone well. It is seldom that an entire school, faculty and students'alike can boast of one person upon whom all can re- ly. Such an individual is Mrs. Bullock to whom we dedicate this book with our best wishes for a happy retirement. She will be missed by all of us. 2 Tiible Contents Administration 4. Ip' RICHBURG CENTRAL SCHOOL ANTHONY TOPORAS ASSISTANT TO SUPERINTENDENT R ICHBURG. NEW YORK 14774 PHONE: 716 928 1380 JOSEPH A AMORE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS C. ROBERT STOHR DISTRICT CLERK June 26, 1983 Dear Class of 1983: Your formal education at Richburg Central School is quickly drawing to a conclusion. As you approach your commencement, which is the beginning or start of your adult lives, take with you the knowledge, memories, friends and experiences of your Richburg years. With each of these ingredients add other things to come to a full grip and understanding of yourself, and the complicated society in which you live. Pursue whatever facet of life which particularly interests you at this young age. Take advantage of every situation and experience you encounter, and remember we can learn as much from our mistakes as directly from textbooks. Grow and mature into fine men and women and strive to leave your mark on society. Never forget R.C.S. and the foundations you acquired here. Be happy and learn when young, not when old, for learning is better than silver and gold. God bless each and everyone of you and may each of you attain whatever goal you have set for your- self in this life. Have a good life and keep in touch. For now I'll say so long because good-bye is too final. Sincerely Joseph A. Amore Superintendent s President Mr. Philip Barnes f Vice President Mr. B.
