iHrs. tclisabrtl| till n rtf Now is the time to remember and the time to recall just what Mrs. Sharyl Bush has meant to us. Mrs. Bush graduated from Richburg Central in June 1965. As a friend outside of school, she shared our good times at the Esso and made them more fun as we laughed and sang with her. Mrs. Bush started teaching first grade at Richburg in September of 1912. She took a great interest in her young people and the love she gave them was returned. Although none of us had the privilege of having her as a teacher, we can confidently say for her first graders that the knowledge she has given diem and the lessons they have learned—this and her helpful, cheerful attitude, will long remain in their memories. We regretfully say good-bye to Mrs. Sharyl Bush. For the two years she has been here her happy-go-lucky nature has been a help and inspiration to all who have known her. We would like to wish her happiness in her new home, and the very best of everything good. Now that it is time to say good-bye to Mrs. Lynch we realize just how lucky we have been and just how much we have benefited from her. Elizabeth Lynch started teaching in our school in September 1966. She has seen students struggle through the many rules of English and Latin. She has given some that extra boost needed in order to become interested in life as well as school. The quotations which Mrs. Lynch put on her board made each who read them, think a litde more. She has made us realize that in every person there is some good. The students at Richburg want to thank her for serving our school. We wish her many years of happiness during her retirement. £Hrs. §linryl fSusti

Retirement Memory is when you look back and the answers float in to Who? What? When? Where? The members who were there then Are repeated on a screen Are recalled on a scroll Are moved in a miniature drama Are collected and recalled For actions, speeches, silence Set forth by images of the mind And made in a mingling mist To do again and to do over Precisely what they did do once This is memory .... Sometimes slurred and blurred This is remembering .... Sometimes wrecking the images And proceeding again to reconstruct What happened and how The many little involved answers To Who? What? When? Where? And more involved than any how? How? $11 (fnrl §attdburg The time has come to bid a fond farewell to Mrs. Ruth Young. She came to Richburg in September of 1953 as a Home Economics teacher. She has served the stu- dents and faculty of Richburg with patience, time, and advice. During this year Mrs. Young held the positions of Home Economics Teacher and Guidance Counselor. She was responsible for making many students satisfied with themselves. Mrs. Young has been more than just a teacher. She has been a friend to all, helping everyone in his hour of need, in any way she could. Richburg is losing a person who has a special place in many students’ hearts. The students and teachers wish J her all the happiness in the world, in the years to come. £Hrs. Kuth Jouiici I 2
