This is producing a dilemma which each of you will have to face at an ever-increasing rate. The situation suggests that you approach it in some way that will allow you to stabilize your own environment and yourself in the world of the future. lhave always asked that each of you establish goals during your years in school. I would like to suggest that you continue to form some goal which can be used as a guide in your lifetime. Each goal can easily be supplemented by another as you adapt your abilities to the requirements of the goal. Without a goalor an objective to aim for you will wander aimlessly and accomplish only a small degree of your potential. I would like to make one final suggestion. When you have made up your mind to aim or satisfy a goal never look back. Many people have tried and failed to improve themselves with hindsight. Do not try to reprove yourself for what has happened in the past. Always look to the future and reach for-Eli' star. Sincerely yours, Bruce T. It isten years after the graduation of the class of ,68 from RCS and we are now going to take a fast trip around the world to see how the members of that class are doing today. We will start our trip in the town of Richburg where we find DAVID BENEDICT serving as the mayor of this booming me- tropolis. At his side we find his ever-faithful servant JOHN BULLOCK who returned to Richburg after an unsuccessful safari to capture the famed pink elephant. While in Africa, John ran into two old classmates-DUANE SMITH and DON GRAVES who were diligently working to convert and educate the poor natives of that continent. From here we will fly to Chicago to paya visit to RACHEL RICHMOND and JOE WILDER who now run a candy shop in a former speak-easy. Working as head candy taster in their shop is PATTI MILLER and working as her assistant is, of course, ANDY PETTIT. Needless to say, both girls have put on a little weight. One of the most distinguished members of this class is RORY MCLAUGHLIN who is the world champion weight lifter. Rory is now in New York defending his title. While in New York we will stop in to see JOAN BURDICK who runs a tea room for little old ladies in the Village. Joan has one of America's grooviest new groups performing at her tea room. The group is known as the BeatIess and is made up of four long haired guys who are-CURT MC COLLOUGH, ALYN WEIMER, JIM DICK, and ROD BURD. From here Iet's hop down to Florida and look in on BONNIE LOVE and SYLVIA GRAVES who run an airline charter ser- vice from Miami to Russia and back. The poor girls aren't doing too well in business and are on the verge of bankruptcy. It is reported that one of their top accountants, ED REISMAN, embezzled SI0,000 from their business and took off for South America. We understand that the new comedy team of GOODLIFF 8: WARNER QALLISON and DAVEJ are doing quite well in Florida. These boys first made their debut in English class. DAVID BESSEY has made a major break into the sports world as the coach of the Richburg badminton team. The team has a perfect record-0 wins and 21 losses. Let us now go to Las Vegas, fun capital of the world, where we find STEVE ROBINSON inserting his last quarter into a slot-machine, hoping to get enough money to throw another one of his world-famous parties. Now we go abroad. Our first stop will be Spain where CHRIS ALLEN and CATHY SPETA are working as go-go dancers trying to earn enough to complete their tour of Europe. Good luck girls. From Spain we will go to Switzerland where we find KEN ROSS and JERRY SISSON selling ice cream cones on top of the Materhorn. Those two always were cool guys. Last, but never least, we go to the Vatican where VAN RICKICKI hasjust been granted an audience with the Pope. Wellsville, N. Y. Varsity Toll The Varsity Basketball Team enjoyed one of the most successful seasons in recent years as the Bearcats compiled a 9-3 league record and overall 10-9 record playing one of the toughest schedules in the school's history. The starting tive are Rickicki, Dick, Bullock, Wilder, and Benedict who averaged 69 points a game while the opposition was limited to 60 points per game. Individual honors went to Van Rickicki and Jim Dick, First Team Allegany Class D All-Stars, and John Bullock and Joe Wilder, Second team selections. Highlights of the season were wins over Angelica and Canaseraga and a great comeback victory against Whitesville. The team made sectional berth for the first time in ten years and lost a hotly disputed game against league rival Belfast. Coach Dave Karl will miss the seniors. However, they shall not be forgotten as their four years of hard work and devotion have built a firm foundation for the basketball building program at Richburg. Thanks to the combined effort of coach and team. the basketball outlook for the future is bright indeed.
