Before 1927 VVest Clarksville
School was only a small, two-room
wooden structure with an average
attendance of fifty students in the
first eight grades. It was voted to
consolidate with Richburg in 1938
when a larger and more modern
building was erected for the first
Special teachers go from Rich-
burg once a week to give instruc-
tion in art, music and gymnastics.
