Chaos:a school Mrs. Henderson is caught drinking the mercury out of the thermometers so they won't register higher than 98.6. Mrs. Roush prepares a college transcript for an anxious senior. Mrs. Gursky accepts a form-letter absence excuse. Mrs. Nicewarner directs a desperate visitor to the first floor men's room. The bustling secretarial staff of Richard Montgomery helped to keep our school of two thousand students running smoothly. The office secretaries were busy typing bulletins and other information for teachers and students. Mrs. Nicewarner had the special job of secretary to Mr. Miles, while Registrar, Mrs. Roush, handled hundreds of college transcripts. Mrs. Henderson, school nurse, and Mrs. Joyce, her aide, were always ready to calm the continual flow of ailing students that came through the doors of the nurse's office during the year. Mrs. Joyce admits to the Health Room a student afflicted by terminal hangnails.

Miss Will, assistant principal, studies the 3 page absence list during the flu epidemic. familiar behind all bulletins. The school year of 1968-69 found the familiar faces of Miss Will, Mr. Vargo, and Mr. Reiff once again dealing with the numerous tasks that confronted the administration of R.M. Disciplining uncooperative students, making last minute announcements over the P.A., and supervising various student activities were only some of the administrative problems which were readily solved by the assistant principals. Mr. Reiff, assistant principal, discovers that 430 sophomores had dental appointments yesterday. Assistant principal. Mr. Vargo visits the detention hall banquet. FACULTY 21
