Your consistently outstanding performance in all areas of naval warfare has been in keeping with the high standards of excellence I have come to expect from the officers and men of Richard L. PAGE. I was particularly pleased with your solid performance while attached to Task Group 77.7 in the Gulf of Aden. Your rapid response to this unexpected assignment was the mark of a true professional. Richard L. PAGE's reputation as a Can Do ship was further enhanced by continuous top notch work in task force exercises, particularly MULTIPLEX 1-79 and DAWN PATROL 79. Special recognition also is due your fine flight deck and LSE crews who were often lauded for their professionalism during helo passenger, mail and cargo transfers. 2.
