Crewmembers enjoyed eating in the fine local restaurants and shopping in the many souvenir shops. Drinking a cold one on Cadiz's beach area was a favorite pasttime for several USNFL tourists. Our inport period was also an excellent opportunity for BYRD crewmembers to visit the other ships of SNFL. Our departure from Cadiz found the crew in good spirits as our deployment was only one month from completion. jg
