My Task O learn to use the hands the Master gave me, To ease the pain that day by day We see, To strive for patience, kindness, understanding, That true and steadfast may my motto be. For shining clear and high forever before me May hope lead on and on to show the way, That I may help some soul in pain and anguish To gladly cry the night is gone, 'tis day. Oh, may I ne'er lose sight of one great purpose, For one high, noble cause may service be, For inasmuch, the Master said to others Applies no less, I think, to you and me.
