My Task O learn to use the hands the Master gave me, To ease the pain that day by day We see, To strive for patience, kindness, understanding, That true and steadfast may my motto be. For shining clear and high forever before me May hope lead on and on to show the way, That I may help some soul in pain and anguish To gladly cry the night is gone, 'tis day. Oh, may I ne'er lose sight of one great purpose, For one high, noble cause may service be, For inasmuch, the Master said to others Applies no less, I think, to you and me. To think that e'en the simple cup of water Is remembered in God's Book! and so I ask, Give me in large measure of Thy spirit, And make, oh, make me worthy of my task. Twenty-three

The Crystal Gazer: You long have searched for your ideal. The superman awaits you. No longer must you wait for within the year you are to meet him. It will be a cyclonic affair for he will sweep you completely from your feet! Tall he is and dark, his wavy hair, thick and black, his eyes-and there lies your capitulation, fair one, for you are powerless under the gaze of him who shall away your very life. His outstanding mental ability makes him the leading figure in his community and a social triumph wherever he goes. Learn well the qualities of sweet submission to a dominant will for therein lies the secret to your happiness. Miss Annie Harris-I see you in a large Pediatric Hospital in New York City. You are now entering the ninth year of your Nursing career. Due to your outstanding work as superintendent of nurses and to your high ambitions, in three years you will be made superintendent of this famous hospital. Courage, pluck and perse- verance will carry you through. Oh, Miss Helen Harrell Moonlight and roses Have wonderful power o'er you, Your heart reposes In romantic love so true, June night discloses Love's golden dream coming true, Weddiiig bells are ringing Making one happy heart of twog For you cannot resist the great white moon, You will be no longer Helen Harrell after June.
