ignrkrg On December 2 19:12 the Nolth Shore Hockey League sponsored its third Annual Schoolboy Jamboree Rexere downed Gloucestei the North Shore Champs, ln a thrilling fifteen minute perlod Revere opened its season against Salem on Decembex 11 For the first two perlods Rexere and Salem displayed good defenslve hockey In the thud perlod Rexere scored a qulck goal Salem s Welch tied it up with a solo effort W1th time runn1ng out Welch again broke loose and Scored the clmcher, Salem 2 Revere 1 On December 13 1902 Revere played the Beverly SIX This game was featured by the scoring of Feylel Avxatm and Hudson In the net, V1t0 made sexei al sensational saxes and ieglstexed his first shut out of the season On December 20 Revere tilted wlth Danxels Thls game was marled by excessive penalties both teams were offenders The game ended in a t1e Revele 2 Danvels 2 On Saturday December 27 Revere entered Lynn Alena to play gallant Peabody Both teams played aggresslvely Reveres Feyler dented the strings in the opening minutes of play and Rexere enjoyed this going 1nto the third period Revere trled hard to hold this slim advantage but near the close of the period, the Peabody center grabbed a loose puck and poked it by the Revere goalie Rexele 1 Peabody 1 F01 two peuods the Rex ere goalle Ralph Vito, played sensatlonal hockey m repulsing the efforts of th eAmesbury skaters on Januaxy 3 Late in the game, the Amesbury forward line outfavoxed the Rexere defense and scored the wmnmg goal On January 17 19:13 Revexe Hlgh faced its Jambolee opponents The opening peuod Was hlghllghted by brllllant defensxxe plays on the part of both clubs At 204 of the second period Feyler scored with asslsts golng to Avratln and Hudson Entering the third pellod with a 1 0 lead Revere now shifted to a defenslve game This strategy almost pald off but with seconds left to play, a Gloucester w mg plcked up a loose puck at the Blue line and shoxed lt past the Rexere goalie Revere 1 Glou cestei I RENE18 had to win this game against Swampscott in oldel to get into the play off Revere faced the play 1n the filst peilod but were unable to cash In on then opportunities to score The second period found both teams scoring and once agam we went mto a final pellod deadlocked Wlth a score of Reveie 1 Swampscott 1 With a m1nute and 79 seconds of the game to go, a Swampscott folward scored the decldxng goal Alter its thlzd loss or the season Rex ele met the L5 nn hnglish slx Feylel put Rexexe out front with an unassisted goal in 1 '79 of the first pellod Late in the same p8llOd Hudson scored with Avratm getting an 3sS1St Lynn English forced the plax ln the second pexlod but was unable to scoie In the third and final period Lynn English wasted no time ln sCO11ng when centei Dlck Galloway scored unasslsted Rexere pressed Lynn I:.ngl1sh in the xemamdex of the period Lauy Kaczmarlc got an insurance goal late In the pellod the assist went to Hudson Next Rexexe met the high flxlng Lx nn Lla s cal Hlgh School team who wasted no time m scoring lt seemed that the Rexere six just couldnt do anx thlng right and CIBSSICZI coasted to an easy xlctory Lx nn Classical 4 Rexexe 0 1 - V 4 V . . 1 1 . , .
