LVUIXL DLHUK Winter '59 Student Body Presid PRESIDENT 'S LETTER Dear Regents: I would like to thank you tor giving me the opportunity to be your student body president. l sincerely believe it was the most Wonderful and educational experience I have ever had. lt is truly a shame that everyone cannot share in this experience. Reseda High is without a doubt, the greatest high school anywhere, This greatness is due to the tremendous amount ot school spirit shown so otten by every Regent. This spirit is demonstrated in the manner in which you have supported cam- paigns. Class competition for top grades has raised our academic achievement tar beyond that ot other schools. This spirit in the class room is carried out onto the athletic fields where some ot the greatest high school teams in the country are developed. The sincere desire ot every Regent to malce Reseda High the most outstanding school, in every respect, has put us Where we are. Now' that l am graduating, I know there will al- ways be a place in my heart tor the three won- dertul years l have spent at Reseda, Good luck and good bye. DARRYL TOWNSEND sitinier 60 Student Body' Presid PRESIDENT'S LETTER Fellow Begents, This past semester, I have had the great honor and distinction to have served as your student body president, a job I sincerely hope was performed to your satisfaction. In the past three years, Reseda has made many' great advances in the fields of athletics, music, and scholarship, Qur championship football and traclz teams will never be forgotten, our drill team and band is the finest in the citv, and our scholastic achievements will be evident in the years to come. Being a high school president is the greatest honor a student could have bestowed upon him, but when the high school is RESEDA, words cannot describe my pride. For those of you that are leaving with me, may I wish you the very best of luck in the future and success in your chosen field. For those of you that remain at Reseda, remember, you are attending one of the greatest high schools in the city. Keep its standards high and work hard scho- lastically, for these are the building blocks of the future.
