The Reseda stu- dent learns both the basic Iundamentals of science and the modern history ol science as it lives in our day ot bathyscaphs and polio vac- cines. A thorouah indoctrination in the biological and physical serv- ices is also ottered. In addition to classroom study, students may enlarge their scientilic outlool: with such activities as the annual Science Fair, the renown Atomic International lectures, and the Amerie can Chemical Society's competitive examination, Science teachers urae their students to enter these allfimportant activities. Thus Re- seda's science department answers students' guestions about the world we live in, FOREIGN LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT Forging ahead, the language department under the direction of Mr. Moreno has proudly ottered the choice ot tive language courses- French, German, Latin, Spanish, and Russian. Competently taught by Mr, Pann, eagerly received classes in German and Russian held their Reseda debut this past year. Nevt year the new class ot Italian will be taught to all international-minded Regents who 'ltoolc' this year's new German and Russian classes in their stride, Reseda students are not content merely to be adept in foreign and classical languages, they actively compete in local language contests as well.
